Owner + Principal Planner

My start to wedding planning is the classic story of a bride turned wedding planner. What starts and ends as a hobby for most, was not the case for me. My “hobby” grew into a full blown wedding and event planning business. I gave up my secure, cushy corporate job to focus all my attention on this business.

My mission + goal for my business is to provide an outstanding level of service to my clients, as well as my team. I want this to be an enjoyable and stress-free experience for all our couples and staff. Forming and keeping positive working relationships within Love & Confetti is my top priority.

My greatest work accomplishment thus far has to be replanning 6 weddings in 5 weeks due to a venue falling through unexpectedly last minute. All while caring for a 10 week old baby at home. Thank goodness he was an angel and not a fussy baby.

Heather Cameron

Sales + Events Manager

I’ve spent a number of years in the industry, both in Canada as well as internationally. My career brought me to the UK, where I worked as a wedding planner at a historic 1700s estate in central London. From there, I spent over a decade in China as a Sales Manager. I absolutely loved my time there – Shanghai will always have my heart.

I really like connecting with couples, understanding their vision, and guiding them through the process. My goal is to make every couple feel comfortable, confident and supported from start to finish. When I’m not planning events, you’ll find me out on the golf course in Whistler, where I now call home.

Wedding Coordinator + Planner

As a Wedding Coordinator + Planner at Love & Confetti, I thrive on turning a couple’s vision into reality. My background is in events and marketing, and I spent eight years organizing craft brewery events and festivals before stepping into the wedding industry. I’ve always had a love for weddings—so much so that I did my high school work experience in a bridal studio!

I love working with vendors, organizing the intricate details, and seeing a wedding day unfold seamlessly. My favorite moment? When the dance floor comes alive—there’s nothing better than seeing pure joy as everyone celebrates together! When I’m not working, you’ll find me hiking with my dogs, Edie and Emmy, making fresh pasta for friends, or traveling back to Australia to visit family.

Meryl Arellano

Setup Assistant

As a Setup Assistant, I play a hands-on role in bringing each wedding to life – ensuring every element is set up seamlessly. My journey into the wedding industry started after Love & Confetti planned my own wedding in 2022. I loved the experience so much that it inspired me to pursue a career in this field!

With an eye for detail and a love for creating beautiful spaces, I find so much joy in seeing everything come together. My favorite wedding moment? When the couple sees each other for the first time – it’s such a powerful and emotional part of the day. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, playing the piano, and travelling. My honeymoon in Paris, highlighted by seeing the Eras Tour, was unforgettable!

Elaine Engelhardt

Wedding Coordinator

Elaine’s path into wedding planning began long before it became her career. With a natural love for hosting and bringing people together, she has been planning events since a young age, inspired by a home where thoughtful gatherings and attention to detail were second nature. What started as organizing celebrations for friends and family has evolved into a role she truly loves. As a Wedding Coordinator and Planner with Love & Confetti, Elaine is passionate about collaborating with couples to bring their vision to life, while managing all of the behind the scenes logistics so they can be fully present and enjoy their day.

Known for her calm, flexible approach and strong problem solving mindset, Elaine thrives in fast paced environments and is quick to step in wherever needed. She understands firsthand how overwhelming wedding planning can feel and prioritizes creating a seamless, stress free experience built on trust and collaboration. With a design style that blends classic elegance and soft, bohemian elements, she loves elevating weddings through thoughtful details, beautiful florals, and intentional atmospheres that leave a lasting impression.

Julie-Anne Roy

Wedding Coordinator

Julie-Anne is a wedding coordinator with Love & Confetti who brings a calm, intuitive presence to every celebration. She naturally pulls all the details together seamlessly, creating an experience where couples feel supported, relaxed, and able to fully enjoy their day.

With experience across the Sea to Sky corridor since 2019, she has coordinated everything from intimate gatherings to large-scale weddings. Known for her strong eye for design and meticulous attention to detail, she approaches each event with both creativity and precision. On a wedding day, she leads confidently behind the scenes, ensuring everything unfolds smoothly and effortlessly.
