One of the most exciting parts of the puzzle when planning your wedding is location scouting, and believe me there are no shortages of amazing locations to choose from in the Sea to Sky Corridor! Let’s take a look at 11 of my local favourites that you may or may not know about!
1. Evans Lake
Imagine standing with your partner in a peaceful forest, surrounded by tall trees and lake views, committing your life to each other. Or perhaps at the end of the swim dock, in the sunshine? The serene, natural venue at Evans Lake is perfect for the couple that would like an outdoor venue, without the hike-in. There are so many options to choose from for your ceremony backdrop, and reception space (when those are allowed again!) Complete with a recreation and dining hall, this venue has it all.

2. Cheekye Ranch
Cheekye Ranch is known to locals as the home to Second Chance Cheekye Ranch (SCCR), which is a charitable organization focused on rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming horses. With over 40 horses on-site at any given time, your guests would have quite the experience from start to finish. What locals may not know, is that it is also a beautiful venue for a destination wedding.
Cheekye Ranch is situated beside the Cheakamus River on over 60 acres, and boasts gorgeous views of Tantalus and Garibaldi mountain ranges, riverside yurts, and landscaped gardens which are perfect for your ceremony.

3. Cheakamus Centre
When they named it Paradise Valley, they weren’t kidding. You can truly get away from it all on the grounds at Cheakamus Centre. The beautiful, modern facility and delicious on-site catering, are just the cherry on top of the 165 hectare grounds that are deemed an ecological reserve. The team at Cheakamus are champions of sustainability, and conservation. On-site accommodations feature 9 rustic, heated cabins for your guests, you can really make it a wedding to remember!

4. Sunwolf
Sunwolf is perhaps one of the better known outdoor venues in the Sea to Sky corridor. Home to the infamous and award-winning Fergie’s Cafe, who serve up the best breakfast in the area (goodbye morning after headache!) . This venue is nestled at the junction of the Cheekye and Cheakamus Rivers, with fully serviced cabins to house up to 54 of your guests. Additionally, there is ample room for RVs or a gorgeous glamping set-up making it the perfect location for a rustic wedding. Sunwolf is also a hub of river activity – cap your wedding weekend off with rafting or an eagle viewing float to give the full Squamish experience.

5. Sea to Sky Gondola
You’ve definitely heard of the Sea to Sky Gondola. The views from their Octagon lookout are some of the most sought after by the wedding couples I’ve worked with, and for good reason. Looking out over Howe Sound and the surrounding mountains, it is truly a unique experience. There are multiple spots along the trailways for smaller groups and elopements, each with its own gorgeous views, so there is something for everyone! On-site catering, and the beautiful Diamond Head Room, with its floor to ceiling windows and large covered deck, this venue is one of the best places to dance the night away.

The Roundhouse itself features 20 ft. floor-to-ceiling windows allowing amazing views of the surrounding mountains. This is the largest venue in the Corridor, which accommodates up to 1200 guests, and can be customized to suit your decor.
